This earth rod has a male thread at the top and a female thread at the bottom enabling rods to be joined together. After machining, the rod is hot-dip galvanised with a coating of zinc not less than 610 g/m2. The rod is supplied as a standard set complete with toughened steel driving head, hardened steel driving spike and galvanised steel wire rope grip
